FLIR's Patrol IR and Patrol IR Pro thermal imaging cameras are engineered for use on law enforcement vehicles. Thermal imaging is a powerful tool in law enforcement because suspects can't hide their heat. Their position and activities are clearly revealed in total darkness and through fog, dust, smoke, or foliage. This is the same technology used by the U.S. military. Patrol IR cameras are ideally suited to vehicle based surveillance, searches, security, and patrol operations.

• The low cost and compact Patrol IR includes pan-and-tilt capabilities. The pan feature provides 360 degree viewing.


• The Patrol IR Pro includes pan/tilt capabilities, as well as a color Sony TV camera that provides viewing in visible light alongside the thermal imaging camera. The powerful thermal camera has a 35mm lens and includes a 2X e-zoom feature. It can detect human activity beyond 3,000 feet.
